1280) — немецкий монах. Ему приписывали занятия магией и алхимией. Об Альберте Великом существует множество легенд. Возможно, впрочем, это имя условно. Михаэль Майер в «Химическом музее» пишет о том, что Альберту Великому удалось получить Философский камень, который он якобы передал перед смертью своему ученику Фоме Аквинскому. В 1653 г. вышло многотомное собрание сочинений Альберта Великого. Ему приписывается авторство нескольких гримуаров — «Большой Альберт», «Малый Альберт» и др.
